With the final EPL weekend upon us, we reflect on this past weekend's events. Check out our English Premier League five talking points.
Gunners top-four dream hanging by a thread after draw
Arsenal need nothing short of a miracle to end the Premier League season in the top four after they drew 1-1 with Brighton at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners went into the game knowing anything other than a win would effectively finish their ambitions of Champions League qualification via the league but produced another below-par showing as they made it four Premier League games without a win.
United's top four hopes end with draw
Manchester United are no longer able to finish in the Premier League top four following a disappointing 1-1 draw at relegated Huddersfield Town.
United arrived in West Yorkshire without a win in their last four in all competitions, but facing a Terriers side that had lost 14 games and scored only nine goals on home soil this term.
Chelsea up to third
A deadly second half blitz helped Chelsea to a 3-0 win over Watford at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to see them leepfrog Tottenham into third place.
The Blues came into the game looking to cement their place in the Champions League qualification places, but were without a win in their last three league games.
The Hornets had not won in two as they could be forgiven if their minds had started to wander towards the FA Cup final against Manchester City later this month.
Klopp hails Liverpool players after late Toon win
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted his players can do no more in their bid to win the title after securing a late win at Newcastle.
The Reds, who have not won the title in 29 years, needed a late winner from substitute Divock Origi to take the race for the Premier League crown to the final day of the season.
However, a vital 3-2 win came at a cost as 26-goal striker Mohamed Salah was carried off on a stretcher after colliding with Magpies keeper Martin Dubravka.
What does this all mean?
With the final English Premier League weekend upon us, all matches will start at 16:00 on Sunday the 4th of May. Should Manchester City win all their matches they will retain the league but should they slip, and Liverpool win their last match, then Liverpool will win the league. Manchester United will play in the Europa League next year after failing to win as Pogba hit the bar twice. Arsenal will need Tottenham to lose, again, and to have a better goal difference to finish fourth.
