Dea Gea's error hands Chelsea goal, City still on top, and Van Dijk named PFA Player of the Year are some of our talking points in this past weekend's Premier League action.
Solskjaer: De Gea's mistake just 'one of those things'
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer dismissed David de Gea's mistake in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday as "one of those things".
United's three-game run without a goal was ended 11 minutes into the clash with Chelsea at Old Trafford as Juan Mata scored on his 31st birthday but another goalkeeping error allowed Marcos Alonso to equalise two minutes before half-time and the game ended 1-1.
Antonio Rudiger's speculative 35-yard shot was Chelsea's first effort on target and it should have been comfortable for De Gea but the Spaniard spilled the ball at Alonso's feet and he guided it in off the far post.
Leicester City 3-0 Arsenal
Ten-man Arsenal were well beaten by Leicester City, as Jamie Vardy scored twice in a comprehensive 3-0 Foxes' victory.
The Foxes made one change to the side which drew 2-2 with West Ham as Hamza Choudhury was preferred to Demarai Gray.
Burnley 0-1 Manchester City
Sergio Aguero was on target as Manchester City moved back to the top of the Premier League table with a 1-0 win at Burnley.
City's Manchester derby win on Wednesday saw them seize the advantage in the title race but as Liverpool thrashed Huddersfield on Friday night, the defending champions went into Sunday's clash at Turf Moor in second spot.
Burnley offered little going forward but did manage to frustrate City until just after the hour mark when Aguero finally forced a breakthrough for Pep Guardiola's men.
Pochettino - 'We weren't thinking about Tuesday'
Mauricio Pochettino has rubbished talk Tottenham were distracted by their upcoming mid-week Champions League semi-final with Ajax as they were defeated by West Ham.
Spurs put in a leggy and lethargic performance as West Ham became the first opposition team to score and win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with Michail Antonio’s second-half goal giving them a 1-0 success.
Van Dijk named PFA Player of the Year
Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk has been named the Professional Footballers' Association's Players' Player of the Year for 2019 after a stellar season for the Reds.
Van Dijk succeeds team-mate Mohamed Salah in winning the award after seeing off tough competition from Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling.
