Arsenal - 4
Top target
Alexandre Lacazette - £10.5 - TSB 17.4%
The guy is a goal scorer. 34 goals in 34 games in all competitions last season shows this. It is also expected that he will take penalties for Arsenal. He may take a little bit of time to adjust to the pace and physicality of the Premier League, but expect Lacazette to be near the top of the golden boot race this season.
Differential
Mesut Özil - £9.5 - TSB 2.2%
Created on average 3 chances per start last season (11 assists). Having a more ruthless striker in Lacazette up front will boost his creative returns in FPL.
Be wary of…
Aaron Ramsey - £7.0 - TSB 1.2%
When he plays, he’s one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the world. However, his poor injury record, Arsenal’s external competition commitments, and the fact that Wenger has a lot of other central midfielders at his disposal means that Ramsey will probably be rested quite often.

Tottenham - 3
Top target
Harry Kane - £12.5 - TSB 37.8%
The guy is a goal scoring freak. Explosive potential, fixture proof, penalty duties and in a team that scores lots of goals. People are concerned that the change of grounds may hamper his ability to score goals, but that is unlikely.
Differential
Toby Alderweireld - £6.0 - TSB 15.3%
Had an excellent season FPL wise in 2015/16, but attacking returns and bonus points dried up last season. This shouldn’t be too much of a worry though. He still averages about 1 shot per game and 14 forward zone passes, meaning that he still has attacking potential. If this potential doesn’t turn into attacking returns though, clean sheet points will be very common.
Be wary of…
Heung-Min Son - £8.0 - TSB 0.9%
Son was sensational last season when in the team. However, in addition to his injury, question marks remain over his place in the starting side. A bench position is likely to start the season.
Manchester City - 2
Top target
Vincent Kompany - £6.0 - TSB 5.7%
His injury woes seem to be behind him now. He has matured greatly and recognises when he is fatigued, opting to skip matches on occasion for his self preservation. 3 goals in the last few GWs of last season highlight his attacking potential, and 4 clean sheets in the final 8 GWs captures his defensive influence and potential for clean sheets.
Differential
Sergio Aguero - £11.5 - TSB 11.0%
I never thought I’d be writing this. Aguero as a differential. There’s not much to say. 20 goals, 5 assists and 175 points is a poor season for this guy. He did this only making 25 starts too. A proven goal scorer who contrary to what people are arguing, is not past his peak and on the decline.
Be wary of…
Leroy Sane - £8.5 - TSB 5.6%
After a slow start to life as a Citizen, he finished off the season strongly and nailed down a spot on the wing. However, Guardiola's new 3-4-1-2 means that there will most likely be no starting spot available for Sane this season (at the start of the season at least). If the formation changes, expect heavy rotation among Sane, D.Silva, B.Silva, De Bruyne, Gundogan and Sterling once the external competitions begin.

Predicted GW1 line-up
Chelsea - 1
Top target
Marcos Alonso - £7.0 - TSB 13.7%
Chelsea’s left wing back was often the most advanced attacker in the side last season. Combine his 6 goals and 5 assists with regular clean sheets, and you’ve got a regular source of points.
Differential
Victor Moses - £6.5 - TSB 0.4%
Despite Moses’ natural attacking instincts, he is only owned by 0.4% in FPL. However, Moses bettered Alonso for both shot and shot assist frequency. Now listed as a defender, Moses has the potential to pick up regular clean sheet points as well as attacking returns.
Be wary of…
Alvaro Morata - £10.0 - TSB 6.8%
Regardless of his pedigree, it’s always tough for a player coming to the Premier League from the Serie and La Liga. Expect Morata to be given time to adjust and with Batshuayi ending last season well and finding top form in pre-season, Morata may not be the best FPL option in his price range for now.
